Vintage Church Elders & Staff . After working with Inter. Varsity Christian Fellowship at North Carolina State University for five years, they felt called to plant a church in downtown Raleigh.
Vintage Church was planted in the fall of 2. Triangle that meet every Sunday. He has served in leadership of Acts. Europe and Africa. Tyler also founded Advance the Church, a cooperative nondenominational movement to help plant and revitalize local churches. Tyler and Kimberly have three little ones: Ellia, Lyla, and Lincoln.
John, along with his wife Alison and their three children Lara, Robbie, and Hayley, arrived in Raleigh in 1. They came from West Kilbride, Scotland, to begin their third international assignment with IBM. This became a permanent move and allowed the Kerrs to continue serving in their local church as lay leaders in an urban church plant. Matt has overseen the creative expression of God’s love through sermon series, music, videos, and church gatherings. Matt is back leading the creative vision of Vintage Church as Creative Arts Pastor, where he oversees the creative vision and expression of all three Vintage churches, as well as leading worship at Vintage Church Downtown. He is overwhelmingly thankful to be married to his wife Christin, and is a proud father of three feisty and fun daughters.
Matt is a graduate of James Madison University where he ran hurdles and sprints for the Men’s Track and Field team. Tanner is the lead pastor of Vintage Church Midtown.
Tanner is an alumni of Virginia Tech and completed his Master of Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest. Tanner is married to Kara and has a daughter, Archer and a son, Abel.
Jared and his wife Chyloe met at Liberty University where he played soccer and studied Religion and Spanish. Jared served as a Youth Pastor in Columbus, OH for nine years until the Lord led the Trumbos to serve orphans in Beijing, China. After several years, they ended up in the Triangle to minister to the international student population at UNC. The Trumbos were attending Vintage Church Midtown when Jared was hired as Associate Pastor in June 2. Jared and Chyloe have 4 boys and love doing ministry together as a family. Brad and his wife Courtney have been a part of the Vintage family from the beginning, knowing Tyler as their staff leader with Inter. Varsity at NC State.
Since the beginning, Brad has been constantly challenged, humbled, and encouraged by the provision and faithfulness of Jesus in using the local church to redeem the city he loves. Brad lives in Raleigh with his beautiful wife Courtney, their son Caedmon, and daughters Lydia and Hadley. They are excited to see God’s plan unfold as they seek to love and redeem their neighborhood and city through Jesus. Paul and his wife Mary met at a community group when Paul was on a short term missions trip serving Mary’s church in Maryland. After dating long distance for a year and a half and a two month engagement they got married in Paul’s home state of Arkansas in 2. From there Paul got a degree in Computer Animation at Full Sail University in Orlando and it was off to a video game job in Wisconsin.
Florida to Wisconsin was quite a shift and the Robbins’ are happy to be back here in the south where the sweet tea flows like wine and barbecue is a noun. They came to Durham in 2. Paul got a position as an animator for a video game company.
Soon after arriving they had a couple kids and are showing no sign of stopping. Paul loves the Gospel and has a particular interest in evangelism, apologetics and one- on- one discipleship. Patrick Myers is an elder and leads the worship teams at Vintage Church in Durham. After selling his Baltimore- based business of 1.
Namibia, Africa, to serve full- time at a children’s orphanage. It was there that he met his amazing wife Katie. Following their engagement abroad, they returned home, were married and settled in Baltimore for a few years until God moved them to Durham in 2.
Upon visiting Vintage, they found a church that held high the truth of the Gospel and the name of Jesus. Patrick’s heart is for people to know Jesus, to see the church advance in and through the Gospel and to make much of Jesus through music.
Taylor and Claire Roberts have called the Raleigh area home since attending NC State University. God led them to Vintage in 2. God grow His church in the Triangle. Taylor married the coolest woman in the world, Claire, and they have two amazing children: a son named Tavener and a daughter named Emory. By day Paige is a senior marketing manager; by night she’s a wife to her husband Armin and mom to her two amazing children, Alex & Anderson. In her free time Paige is working out, playing with her kids, and probably falling asleep. Born and bred on the east coast of sunny Florida, John moved to Raleigh in the summer of 2. He attended Palm Beach Atlantic University where he earned a degree in Ministry Leadership. Post college John has served in various church internship roles in both Florida and Georgia, while also working jobs that let him get his hands dirty. When he’s not tightening toilet seats and changing light bulbs at the historic Vintage Church building in Downtown Raleigh, you can find him exploring the Triangle, venturing to the mountains or sea, biking, enjoying all things music, or eating ice cream. Savannah grew up in Texas, but after living in North Carolina for over a decade she gladly calls Raleigh home. After graduating from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a concentration in Philosophy & Apologetics in 2. Nursing. She’s been a member at Vintage since 2. She considers it a great honor to be living life with the people at Vintage.
If she’s not in school or working, she likes reading, running, trying not to be clumsy, and spending time with her husband Josh. Thomas grew up in Raleigh, but moved to Harrisonburg, VA, in 1. While up there, he made some extremely significant milestones. In chronological order, he started his career in event production, dedicated his life to Jesus, completed a college degree, and met his wife Sarah. After settling back in Raleigh in 2. Vintage and working as a freelance tech for a variety of concerts, special events, and meetings.
In his spare time, Thomas enjoys hanging out with his wife and family, cooking and enjoying food, and tasting snobby beer.
